Gearing up to change the world of anchoring
SCHOTTEL Marine Technologies are currently carrying out an extensive test programme at the SCHOTTEL Group’s main production site in Dörth, Germany. The facility is built on rock, so that – after removal of the overburden – a dedicated SCHOTTEL Marine Technologies test site was created directly next to the factory. Comprehensive tests to validate the capability of the Swift Anchor technology are presently being performed on this test site. These tests include anchor drilling, coring and sampling, anchor installation, tensioning tests and ULS/FLS load tests to support DNV certification.
