Gearing up to change the world of anchoring

SCHOTTEL Marine Technologies has currently carried out an extensive test programme at the SCHOTTEL Group’s main production site in Dörth, Germany. The facility is built on rock, so that – after removal of the overburden – a dedicated SCHOTTEL Marine Technologies test site was created directly next to the factory. Comprehensive tests to validate the capability of the Swift Anchor technology were presently performed on this test site. These tests included anchor drilling, coring and sampling, anchor installation, tensioning tests and ULS/FLS load tests.
