Dirk schulze
Dirk Schulze joined SCHOTTEL Marine Technologies Group as CEO in May 2023. The group consists of the Company headquarters in Spay, Germany, as well as the subsidiary in Edinburgh, United Kingdom.
Prior to joining the SCHOTTEL Marine Technologies Group, Dirk has held several senior management positions in the energy industry – most recently as CEO for a leading global manufacturer of complete deep drilling rigs and equipment for oil, gas and geothermal energy. Having worked across several locations abroad, including 10 years in Australia and Africa, he brings extensive international experience and global market insights to his new role.
Dirk Schulze is aware of the potential for SCHOTTEL Marine Technologies to become a key player in the Blue Economy, stating that “The rapidly increasing demand for renewable energy requires the deployment of innovative and future-proof technologies. I am convinced that we can make an important contribution to accelerating the energy transition with our cost-efficient, rapidly deployable, and environmentally sensitive anchoring solutions.”
His goal is to take on the challenges of the renewable energy sector together with his team, and to establish the company in the growing market of marine technologies for renewable energies.
When he’s not at work, Dirk enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, and pursuing his hobby of fly fishing.
